Believed to have been built circa 1720, the Home Sweet Home Museum is a simple building that carries with it a rich history. Located on the Village Green in Colonial East Hampton, this musuem-house takes visitors back a couple of centuries to allow them a view of the lifestyles of yore.

The Elias Pelletreau Silversmith Shop

Captain Elias Pelletreau was a Revolutionary War Patriot and well-known silversmith. Some of the pieces here were created by Pelletreau 200 years ago, and today are maintained by the Southampton Historical Society.

Meadow Croft House Museum

Meadow Croft, the former summer home of the first cousin of Teddy Roosevelt, is being restored to 1910. It is dedicated to the Suffolk County Historic Trust and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places in Washington, DC. Tours are provided by The Bayport Heritage Association on Sundays at 1pm and 3pm.

Sagtikos Manor

Built in 1697, Sagtikos Manor served as headquarters for the British army for a brief time during the Revolutionary War. President George Washington stayed here during his tour of Long Island in 1790.
The costumed docents will guide visitors through the Manor House where they can view furniture, accessories and architectural styles from the 1600s to the 1900s.
